• Make outbound telephone calls to municipal administrators and other decision-makers.
• Contact both prospective municipalities and existing ConX Wireless clients.
• Briefly and professionally explain the purpose of the call.
• Request opportunities for our team to provide short presentations to councils or municipal staff.
• Schedule presentation dates and accurately record contact details and outcomes.
• Make follow-up calls when the appropriate person is unavailable.
• Maintain a friendly, respectful and professional approach during every interaction.
• Work toward consistent daily contact and presentation-booking goals.

Previous Sales Experience is Not Required

This is not a traditional sales position. You will not be expected to sell products, negotiate pricing or close agreements.

Your purpose is to create a positive initial connection, introduce the opportunity and arrange a short presentation for another member of our team. Training, calling guidance and background information will be provided. You do not require technical expertise.

Experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, appointment setting, community engagement or telephone-based communication would be helpful, but it is not required. The right personality, confidence and willingness to learn are more important than previous sales experience.
